VANTAGE POINT

Vantage Point the subject is placed in the right hand corner and Deep DOF where everything is in focus.

2nd vantage point where the background is in focus and the foreground subject is blurred

3rd Vantage point taken. I actually like how the lines (seat, branches and tree trunks) all lead to the subject.

RULE of THIRDS

Where the grass reaches the bush on the horizon line, and the tops of the shoulders. The left and right of the shoulders and the subject is the centre.

Research - Social Practice

It's been quite hard to research and find what I've been looking for in relation to the Art I want to make. I guess it's because quite possibly it's a new thing?

Social practice is an art medium that focuses on social engagement, inviting collaboration with individuals, communities, and institutions in the creation of participatory art.

. Suggested Donation for meal - Koha
. Show casing other Artists - Collaboration
. Showcasing fresh and seasonal vegetables - shared knowledge
. Mixed media - ceramics, food, people and space
Sharing a meal - Aroha

I really like this photo. The sharing of food, the mixing of culture, the conversations

A collaboration - an interactive social project with food, hospitality and conversation.
I like the concept of using the clay from the site to fashion mugs for the workers at Smoko. The recycling of found material from the site the  giving back to the worker and a sense of paying it forward.

Again it's the thought of  eating food and having a conversation with people you don't know.

My Vision Board

vision board is a tool used to help clarify, concentrate and maintain focus on a specific life goal. Literally, a vision board is any sort of board on which you display images that represent whatever you want to be, do or have in your life.

This is a partial look at my Vision Board.

I am a Painter
I am a Cook
I am a Photographer
I am trying to visualise where and how I can combine and use these 3 things to achieve a clear vision a conversation between all 3 and of where I see myself in the future and what I need to do to fullfil this while in class.

At 9.30am as Kaitiaki (guardians) of  Z143 it is our choice as a class to ensure the commuter screens and desks are clean and that the room is free of rubbish.
Our class will begin with a role call and a chance to let our Lecturer know who is absent.
We begin our class with a Waiata (Song/Hymn) lead by Joseph Tarei.
